Quality of life among pediatric residents in Riyadh

Background: Until now, no locally based study has evaluated quality of life among pediatric residents, especially residents in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The objective this was to evaluate (QoL) the and report factors affecting their life.Methods: A cross-sectional study, a self-administered questionnaire depending that distributed electronically pediatrics resident assess Riyadh, Arabia. depended on self-reported which questions were gathered specifically, from work-related (WRQoL) scale. To collect data, self- administered sent through social media (twitter, WhatsApp).Results: In we able data 260 where 54.2% them females. general, found 51.9% participants showed good level QoL while 47.7% moderate only 0.4% low levels QoL. percentage who six categories; CAW, JCS, HWI, SAW, GWB WCS 53.8%, 49.2%, 45.0%, 48.6%, 38.1% 56.9% respectively. We did not find any significant had impact working residents.Conclusions: 48.2% Al Riyadh region, Arabia Further studies are needed determine causes improve residents.
